Dear Mr. Fletcher, I wanted to take this time to say "Thank you" to you and all of the people at Burkholder Funeral Chapel. You were all so loving, caring, and compassionate as we went through this process with our father, Ben Roth. Words cannot express that feelings that I had when you said many times, "Don't worry, we have this taken care of for you." By your doing so many things for us, it eased the pain and enabled us to focus on each other and being together. I am so very glad that you were with us through this most difficult time in our lives. Dear Rick and Linda, My husband and family join me in sending a special "Thank You" for all the courtesies extended at the Burkholder Funeral Chapel, from beginning to end, in regards to my Mom's death, April 3, 2007, and burial, April 7, 2007. You both have been a joy and delight with which to plan and finalize. It is nice to have made your acquaintance. You both were available to assist me, answer my questions, and lead me in the right direction, no matter what. And yes, we even got to share a laugh or two, which really helped in the process! That was "real fun" (I'll never forget that one). My Mom looked great (the best she's looked in years)! Thank you, for the support in my decision to keep Mom's casket open for viewing. I have no regrets - it was the best! The vision of Mom all "pretty in pink" is the lasting keepsake in my mind, and that of others. Thank you, for allowing Steph and Heidi to work on Grandma. They felt very honored. Thanks also to Rhonda and Jon for their contributions to a memorable celebration of life. It was good to meet them! Many thanks, again! God bless you! Few things are more devastating than the sudden and unexpected death of a loved one, such an event brings much heartache and countless tears, but the warm response and support from friends and family brings a different kind of tear to the eye: a joyful tear. The Durham family and friends were wholly grief-stricken when word spread of Maxine Durham's death. Maxine was a faithful wife, loving mother, and unsurpassed grandmother; forfeiting the last ten years of her life to raise her grandson, Jeramy Durham. Emotions, since the week of Maxine's death, have been much like a restless sea in their rising and falling. In this time of sorrow, loving and supportive friends and family members have done their best to ease the pain. The Durham family would like to send out a warm and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has done such a wonderful job helping us through this tough time. We would also like to take the time to mention Burkholder Funeral Chapel. The support team and staff at Burkholder are top notch at their job and just all-around wonderful people. Considering the circumstances, both funerals we have held at Burkholder have been flawless. Once again, we would just like to thank everybody for all they have done.
