Mrs. Margaret Evelyn Denny Hamilton

Margaret Denny Hamilton, 86, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away at Lutheran Community Home on November 28, 2011 at 12:48 a.m. Margaret was born on November 28, 1925, in Seymour, the daughter of George and Elnora (Huber) Vehslage. She graduated from Shields High School in 1944 and attended DePauw University in Greencastle, IN. She worked for many years as an administrative assistant for Lear Siegler/Seymour Housewares. She was a past member of the Schneck Medical Center Guild and Tri Kappa in Seymour. Margaret was married to Richard Hamilton on May 31, in 2007.
She is survived by her husband Richard Hamilton; a son, Andrew (Carol) Denny; 2 grandchildren, Drew (Leigh) Denny and Tricia (Tony) Perry; 3 great grandchildren; Austin Perry, Reid Perry, Alexia Denny and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, stepmother, Forrest Vehslage; 4 sisters: Dorothy Medaris, Jeanette Hurwitz, Helen Ferrell and Catherine Hall; 2 brothers: George and Robert Vehslage preceded her in death.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at Burkholder Funeral Chapel, with Rev. James Rodriguez officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery after the service.
