Mr. Gary Allen Weyant

Gary Allen Weyant, 52, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away at his home on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 10:16 a.m. Gary was born on October 29, 1959, in Gary, IN, the son of Harry Russell and Louise A. (Butler) Weyant. Gary married Marleen Sue Corso on October 14, 1978 in Portage, IN. They relocated to Seymour in 1988. He worked as the manager for Water Jet for over 15 years retiring in 2008. Mr. Weyant lived life for his family. He loved fishing, cooking, gardening and walking his dog, Katie. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Marleen of 33 years; a daughter, Jennifer Marie (John, Jr.) Hines; a son, Christopher Michael Weyant; 3 grand daughters, Emaleigh Ann, Abigail Grace and Maddy Claire; his mother, Louise A. Weyant; five brothers: Jerry (Candy) Weyant, Ronald (Debbie) Weyant, Harry Jr. (Cheryl) Weyant, Edward (Kim) Weyant and Duane Weyant; 4 sisters: Linda Tollison, Sharon (Joe) Ross, Connie Wireman and Barbara (Greg) Driver and several nieces and nephews.
His father preceded him in death.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2012, at Burkholder Funeral Chapel, with Rev. James Hudson officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home on Monday. Cremation rites will be accorded after the service.
