Mrs. Marian VonDielingen

Marian VonDielingen, 91, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away at Lutheran Community Home on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 5:15 p.m. Marian was born on October 4, 1920, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Clifford Fitzpatrick and Meta Arndt. Her adoptive parents were Walter and Malinda (Rittman) Thoele. She married Ray F. VonDielingen on February 5, 1941, in Seymour and he passed away on January 31, 2005. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. VonDielingen was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and former member of Ladies Aid #4, which she started in the 1940’s while her husband was overseas during WWII.
Marian is survived by a granddaughter, Debra (Jeff) VonDielingen-Joray and several nieces and nephews. Her parents; husband; son and daughter-in-law, Roland and Barbara VonDielingen and a grandson, Victor VonDielingen preceded her in death.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at Lutheran Community Home Chapel, with Rev. Philip Bloch officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at the nursing home chapel on Saturday. Burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour, after the service.
