Robert LeRoy Weddell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Robert LeRoy Weddell, 29 of Brownstown passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019. He was born November 27, 1989 in Seymour, Indiana to Doug and Wendy Weddell. He graduated from Brownstown Central High School in 2008. He worked at Kimberly Trailer Park as a maintenance man before going to his current job as a loader operator with Irving Materials, Inc. His many loves included hunting, fishing, working on cars and spending time with his family. Surviving to cherish Rob’s memories are his fiancé, Mikie Durbin, children, Gracelyn, Charles and Brianna, his parents, Doug and Wendy Weddell, brothers, Jim Weddell and Josh Hallett, aunts, Cindy Smith, Trish Ross and Jonetta Engleking, uncles, John Brooks, Jerry Weddell and, Darl Strong, grandfather, LeRoy Strong, cousins, Corey Strong, Joe Brooks, J.J. Brooks, Jacob Brooks and Tori Brooks and nephew, Douglas Scott Weddell, II. He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Robert and Edith Louise Meadors, his grandmother, Sharon Strong, his uncle, Hugh LeRoy Strong II and cousins, Chad Engleking and Brooke Weddell. A visitation where friends and family may gather to remember Rob will be from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Burkholder Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, 419 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour, IN 47274. Memorials may be made in Rob’s memory to Payton Manning Children’s Hospital or Riley Hospital for Children through Burkholder Chapel.
