Barbara A. Bergdoll Keck, 82 of Seymour went to be with the Lord, Jesus, and be with her husband and daughter on October 22, 2020 in Seymour. Born to William and Elnora Sweany Bergdoll on August 20, 1938. She married Gerald A. "Gus" Keck on January 9, 1954 in Brownstown, IN. He preceded her in death in January 2015. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Keck Fitzpatrick and her sister, Avonda Brown. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Gary W. (Linda) Keck, William H. (Jerrie) Keck, and Brenda A. (Kenny) Keck, 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. Barb was a member of the American Legion Post 89, the Eagles Lodge 655 and charter member of the Moose Lodge 418. She worked at Schneck Memorial Hospital as a nursing aide and was a housekeeper at Best Western Motel. She is also a member of First Church of God in Seymour. Friends may visit with Barbara's family from 4 pm until 8 pm Tuesday October 27, 2020 at the Burkholder Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, 419 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour, Indiana, and one hour prior to the funeral. The funeral will be at 1 pm Wednesday at Burkholder Chapel with Pastor George Hamlin officiating.
