Helen Jean Keithley Graf, 97 of Seymour passed away at Schneck Medical Center on January 7, 2020. She was born March 31, 1922 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Levi Jennings and Lillian Ida Bolduan Keithley. She graduated from Bedford High School and completed nursing school in Bloomington. On January 14, 1947, she married Fred Graf, Jr. in Paoli, Indiana. They moved to Seymour in 1954 and she worked as an OB Nurse at Schneck Medical Center until retiring in 1990. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church from 1954 until transferring to Immanuel Lutheran Church in 1969 where she has been a member since. Her hobbies included working crossword puzzles and playing solitaire. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Fred Graf, Jr., her sister, Norma Vogel and brother, Willard Keithley. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Mike (Marcia) Graf of Terre Haute, John Graf and Bill Graf, of Seymour, sister, Nancy Larson of Sacramento, CA and brother, Bob Keithley of Colorado Springs, CO, grandson, Eric Graf of Terre Haute, granddaughter, Angie (Andrew Kraus) Jeffers of Terre Haute, and great-granddaughter, Madelynn Jeffers also of Terre Haute. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, January 10, 2020 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. James Rodriguez, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until service time at the church. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Bedford, Indiana.
