James "Jim" R. Pardieck, 66 of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Schneck Medical Center. He was born September 15, 1954 in Seymour to Robert and Margaret Steinwedel Pardieck. On June 18, 1988, he married Brenda Bridgewater (Vogel). Jim graduated from Seymour High School in 1972. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was confirmed April 7, 1968. He was co-owner of the Seymour Greenhouse. Jim helped with the everyday operations of the family-owned business for more than 60 years with his family. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed woodworking, yard work, spending time with his grandson, Chase and family at the family cottage at Lutheran Lake. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Brenda, two children, Misty (Curt) Cooper and Mike Vogel, grandson, Chase Vogel, siblings, Michael (Jeri) Pardieck, Jane (Kenny) Knue, Judith (Dave) Casto and Timothy (Elaine) Pardiec, sister-in-law, Yolanda Stigdon, brothers-in-law, Paul (Debbie) Bridgewater and Jim Bridgewater as well as several nieces and nephews. Friends may visit with Jim's family from 4-7 pm Friday, June 11, 2021 at Burkholder Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, 419 N. Chestnut St., Seymour, IN 47274 and one hour prior to the service at 10:30 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Rev. James Rodriguez, Jr. will officiate.
