Linda Jean Stivers, age 74 of Bedford, went home to be with the Lord on December 19, 2020. She was born in Monroe County, Indiana April 14, 1946 to Raymond Stivers, Sr. and Ruby Sims Butcher Stivers. She worked several years at RCA and GE until her retirement. Jean is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Dorothy Butcher Hall, June Butcher Hickman and Janice Stivers, six brothers, Robert Butcher, Claude Stivers, Larry Stivers, James Stivers, Raymond Stivers, Jr. and Michael Stivers. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sister, Wanda Stivers Reynolds Ludwig of Bedford, brother, Morris Stivers, Sr. and wife, Evelyn of Solsberry and sister-in-law, Diane Davis Stivers McCoy of Spencer. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as great-great nieces and nephews. A private family graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Chambersville Cemetery in Spencer.
