Linda Joyce Woodson, 76 of Seymour passed away at Clark Memorial Hospital on December 21, 2019. She was born October 16, 1943 in Freetown, IN to Cecil and Wilma Boicourt Fields. She married David William Woodson in Brownstown on November 1, 1958. She was a homemaker who worked as a nurse's aide. Linda was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Tabernacle in Seymour. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill, an infant daughter, sisters, Mary Hawn, Kate Storey, Nelly Carmichael and Reva Grubbs and brothers, Tommy, Ray, Arthur, Cecil David and Richard Fields. Surviving to cherish her memory is her son David L. Woodson. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Burkholder Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, 419 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour with Pastor Larry Arrowood officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Reddington Cemetery in Reddington.
