Mary Euleta "Jo", "Leta" McIntosh, 91 of Seymour passed away at Indiana University Methodist Hospital on December 14, 2019 with her sons and a grandson by her side. Mary was born August 26, 1928 in Scott County, IN to John Burrell and Jennie Eudora Grandstaff Satterwhite. Mary graduated from Austin High School. Mary married Carl McIntosh on January 17, 1948 in Jennings County. Mary was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was dedicated to her family. Mary worked at Sears and then spent over 20 years at Home Federal Bank until retiring in her mid-seventies. Mary was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Seymour. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl McIntosh on July 12, 1981, sisters, Doris Pantazis and Dorothy Austin and brother, Donald Satterwhite. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Gary McIntosh, Ray (Penny) McIntosh, Don (Jackie) McIntosh, sister, Carol Lumbert, brother, Richard Satterwhite, five grandchildren, Brian McIntosh, Angela McPartlin, Brent McIntosh, Drew McIntosh and Justin McIntosh, great-grandchildren, Dustyn McIntosh, Dylan McIntosh, William McPartlin, Olivia McIntosh, Paige McPartlin, Chloe McIntosh and Sadie McIntosh as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 3-7 pm Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Burkholder Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, 419 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour, IN with the Funeral service following at 7 PM with Pastor Larry Tingle officiating. A graveside service will be held at 10 AM Friday at First Marion Baptist Church Cemetery, Paris Crossing, Indiana.
